Although its glass body was originally conceived as having the form of a drop or a soap bubble, it could also be said that in its overall appearance, the Drop lamp resembles a flower with a bud that has yet to open. In this way, Drop continues the tradition of using flowers as a formal basis on which to create a lamp design. The large satined glass body of the white version emits a pleasant, diffuse light.
The standard lamp incorporates a height adjustment lever, making it suitable for use as a reading lamp. The white version of the lamp family was presented at the Ambiente show in Frankfurt in February 2020.
