Fourteen years after the first prototype was created at the Cristallex glass manufactory in Nový Bor, Czech Republic, the Sompex company is now marketing this table lamp. The spherical illuminant is hinged. The light beam can be altered by turning the shade. The third photograph shows a sample from the year 2000.
