The die cut of the bowl is reminiscent of a the weave pattern of a classic wicker basket. It provides a grip surface when holding the bowl and is also effective in masking fingerprints. Fruit can be washed while still in the bowl, with the perforated metal functioning as a strainer, and then immediately served. The design is inspired by the founder of the Memphis Group, Ettore Sottsass. The bowl is available in two sizes.
