The design of this cookware lives from the interplay between the large, cast-iron, ribbon-like handles. The striking lid handle in particular gives the cookware its distinctive appearance. As with the previously designed handles for the iron frying pans in the 1888 series, the flowing form is not only beneficial from an ergonomic point of view but also favours production from cast iron. Chale was nominated for the renowned German Design Award Winner 2019 by the German Design Council.
